I THOUGHT I WAS LOST
...riding my motorbike through the winding jungle roads of Bali until I met someone who changed my life.
His name was Made (pronounced Mah-Day) and I met him at his small workshop on the side of the road. He later invited back to the village where he lived and showed me their art of carving, a skill that's been passed down for generations.
Made can carve any shape, out of any material. I was blown away by the things he could create!
Through weeks of visiting him, hiking through rice terraces, sharing home-cooked meals and sleeping on his floor, our friendship flourished.
As he introduced me to the other artists and craftsmen in his village, I learned that they often had to abandon their indigenous craft to find whatever labor they could. After seeing them struggle to provide for their families, I wanted to help.
So I asked Made to carve a few infinity symbols that I could purchase and weave onto bracelet bands for my friends. When I saw how much everyone liked them, we made more!
That's where the idea began: what if we brought this carving craft to a global audience? What if we created sustainable work that celebrates their amazing talent?
We started experimenting on other bracelet designs with pendants made of water buffalo bone and horn (from neighboring islands that would otherwise go to waste) and woven bands of nylon thread; to create one-size-fits-all, waterproof bracelets that are durable and one-of-a-kind.
Now stories pour in from Wanderers around the world about how much their handmade symbols mean to them and their loved ones. Each one is made with the intention to represent a part of your life story.

Every bracelet has specific meaning. You can also customize a bracelet with the coordinates of a place that means the most to you, or engrave the initials of the person who crossed your path and changed your life forever.

I designed the logo to serve as a reminder to keep your eyes open to new horizons. I drew it when I realized... I was never lost in the jungle! I was exactly where destiny intended me to be, just like the Tolkien quote:
"Not all those who wander are lost."
